Aishatu Ado (she/her) is an Afro-German author, poet, and peace technologist dedicated to social justice. She is the winner of the 68th Jerry Jazz Musician Short Fiction Award. A 2025 Clarion West graduate, she has received fellowships with Tin House, VONA, Voodoonauts, Roots Words Wounds, and the Hurston/Wright Foundation.
